He was Member of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority as well as Insurance and Pension Funds Commission. Honorary Member of the Management Board of Brokers & Dealers and the Brokerage Houses Chamber. He also held important positions in the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and he was the chairman of the European Regional Committee and the Consultative Group (an organization of institutions responsible for the supervision of capital markets in EU accession countries).
